If you want a heavenly and healthy pasta recipe, angel chicken pasta is the perfect dish for you! This pasta consists of chicken--a lean meat. This meat contains the protein that you need, minus the trans fat that will be dangerous for your health when consumed too much. In addition to that, the pasta provides you the carbohydrate that you need, making you feel full for a very long period of time. Here are two versions of Angel Chicken Pasta recipe that you will surely fall for.

Angel Chicken Pasta Version No. 1

This one resembles the traditional recipe which utilizes an angel hair pasta. It is light, thin and very easy to cook.

Here is what you will be needing:

  • 6 chicken breast halves, boneless and skinless
  • ¼ cup of butter
  • 1 italian style salad dressing mix
  • ½ cup of white wine
  • 1 condensed garlic mushroom soup
  • 4 ounces of cream cheese with chives
  • 1 pound of angel hair pasta

Here is what you will need to do:

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Place butter in a large saucepan and allow it to melt. Add in the package dressing mix and stir well. Add in the wine and golden mushroom soup and stir well. After a while, add the cream cheese and stir well until it becomes smooth. Heat the pan through but do not allow it to boil. In a baking dish, arrange the chicken breasts properly. Pour the sauce over it. Bake this in the preheated oven for about a minute. About 20 minutes before your chicken has been cooked. Place a pinch of salt in water. Bring the lightly salted water to a rolling boil. Cook the pasta and wait for it to be al dente. This will take just about five minutes, Drain the chicken well. Serve chicken and the sauce on top of the pasta.

Angel Chicken Pasta Version No. 2

This one is a rehashed version of the classic recipe. In this recipe, you will be utilizing penne pasta.

Here's what you will be needing:

  • 4 to 6 chicken breasts, deboned, skinless
  • ¼ cup of butter
  • ½ package of Dry Italian salad dressing mix
  • a can of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup of dry white wine
  • 4 ounces of cream cheese with chives
  • a box of penne pasta
  • add chives for garnish

Here is what you will need to do:

Put all the ingredients (except for pasta) in a slow cooker. Cook this over low heat for about 7-8 hours. Once the chicken mixture is well cooked, Cook the penne pasta following the directions stated in the package. Drain it well. After everything has been cooked, mix the chicken mixture and pasta well. Place it in a lerge bowl and serve with chives on top.
